Paradip Port Authority (PPA) achieved a significant operational milestone on September 6, 2026, by successfully berthing MV Mineral Kwangyang, its first-ever Capesize vessel with a 16.5-metre draft, at Western Dock-1 (WD-1).
The dual-crane installation represents one of the Port’s latest strategic investments in modernizing its cargo-handling infrastructure as it celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2026.
