ICL has requested that it be allowed to build a new terminal in the port of Barcelona. This will handle salt and potash. The proposed terminal, which will be on the A´lvarez de la Campa quay, will require investment of €100 million. If it receives the go-ahead, ICL plans to open the terminal this year.
