This Cascade System will be one of the company's 750 size and will be designed to load Sulphur at 300 tonnes per hour.

When installed, the Cascade chute will be suspended from a Luffing Ship Loader Boom and will be suspended from our Pivoting Head Chute.

The chute will be 12 metres long in it’s extended state and will retract to 5 metres. Vertical height for the chute is controlled by a locally mounted spool type winch and ropeway.

All running faces of the system will be fitted with wear resistant liners, this will be a UHMWPE- Anti Static liner in conjunction with an earthing system in order to prevent friction build up and reduce spark potential.

All primary steelwork will be painted to C5-H specification for corrosion protection, secondary steelwork & fixings will be St/St gr 304.

The system will be supplied with a full suite of electrical components, for safety and automation. The features include, Load sensing, material detection with auto-raise function, downward travel limits, slack rope alarm, position monitoring and upward vertical travel limits. All of which would be ATEX rated for Zone 21 & 22.

With the design phase now underway, this system is expected to be in operation in 2026 in Greece.

Images below show the system that was previously supplied under similar design criteria for this location.
