Visakhaptnam Port Trust says that it has established a new single day record for the unloading of manganese ore. This amounted to 22,053 tonnes, which was discharged on behalf of Saradha Energy & Minerals Ltd. The previous record, established on 14 March 2010, stood at 19,425 tonnes.
