In Argentina, the Port of Quequén continues to upgrade areas given over to grain handling.
Quay 3 has been paved as part of a comprehensive programme that has also seen Quay 1 fully paved and Quay 10’s power supply considerably enhanced. Paving slabs along Avenida Almirante Brown have additionally been replaced to give HGVs smoother transit.
Funding for the modernisation has come from the port authority’s own funds, which in turn are a function of improved port activities.
Puerto Quequén’s Port Management Consortium reveals that further works are in the pipeline, all aimed at improving and modernising port infrastructure.
