The results of this cereal campaign, which ended on June 30, 2026, therefore show an increase of +61% compared to the previous campaign, which totaled 5.2 Mt. They are also significantly above the ten-year average of 7.4 Mt.
 
A market share exceeding 50% of national exports
 
Despite strong competition from other French port facilities, HAROPA PORT's market share remains above 50% of national cereal exports by sea .
 
Milling wheat accounted for 5.6 million tons of exports, and barley for 2.6 million tons. This is the third best season ever for Rouen-based operators for barley, whose quality and competitiveness drove exports upward. Grain shipments were complemented by exports of oilseeds and malt, totaling 0.6 million tons.

Regarding destination countries, Morocco remains the leading importer of wheat with 2.6 million tons (Mt). This is a consequence of the drought and poor harvests in Morocco. China ranks second with 578,000 tons, followed by Ivory Coast (520,000 tons). Saudi Arabia comes next with 500,000 tons of imported barley. By region, the Maghreb accounts for 3.4 Mt, West Africa 1.3 Mt, and European countries 1.5 Mt. The grain loaded in Rouen was shipped to 41 different countries.
