Invitation to Bühler’s media booth tour and launch of the latest innovation for the Petfood and Aquafeed industry
The trade show VICTAM International is taking place in Cologne from June 12 – 14. Bühler will showcase its solutions for the entire value chain with a special focus on digital services and solutions to reduce mycotoxins. Bühler will be in hall 6 booth D041.
As a highlight, Bühler will launch its latest innovation for the Aquafeed and Petfood industry and invites attendees to take part in the unveiling and launch of this cutting-edge technology on June 12 at 13:00pm at the Bühler booth. This new solution offers unique features which help to reduce undesired downtimes and product recalls to an absolute minimum.
Additionally, Bühler will showcase LumoVision, the first optical sorting technology which is able to identify and eliminate aflatoxin-infected grains. Aflatoxin is an invisible, major threat to health and food supplies. It is estimated to cause up to 155,000 cases of liver cancer every year. Thanks to new camera and UV lighting technology, LumoVision eliminates up to 90% of contamination.
Billions of people come into contact with Bühler technologies to cover their basic needs for food and mobility every day. Two billion people each day enjoy foods produced on Bühler equipment; and one billion people travel in vehicles manufactured with parts produced with our machinery. Countless people wear eye glasses, use smart phones, and read newspapers and magazines, all of which depend on Bühler process technologies and solutions. Having this global relevance, we are in a unique position to turn today’s global challenges into sustainable business. We want every human being to have access to healthy food. We want to do our part to protect the climate with energy-efficient cars, buildings, and machinery. Our motto is creating “innovations for a better world.”
Bühler invests up to 5% of turnover into research and development. In 2018, over 13,000 employees generated a turnover of CHF 3.3 billion. As a Swiss family-owned company, Bühler is active in 140 countries around the world and operates a global network of 30 production sites.
