ARDELT receives order for new Tukan in Hamburg

ARDELT Kranbau has been commissioned by Rhenus Midgard Hamburg to supply a new, customized handling crane. Delivery is scheduled for December 2026.

 

The new crane complements an existing ARDELT system from 2007 and is fully designed to meet the current and future requirements of the terminal. With a higher heavy-duty level, the option of using an electromagnet system and a significantly increased landside outreach, the system increases the performance in versatile handling and offers Rhenus and its customers more flexibility, shorter handling times and increased efficiency as a result.

 

With an outreach of 50 meters, heavy load operation up to 60 tonnes and a high handling capacity in several grab stages, the new TUKAN from ARDELT will enable over 600,000 tonnes of cargo to be handled per year in future and will expand Rhenus’ range of services in a targeted manner.
